    I like #1 best :)

  2. xanthi September 18, 2013 at 12:08 pm #

    1. great letter typing and colour combination

  3. ola September 18, 2013 at 12:24 pm #

    2. love the combination of purple and green…..very balanced

    • Morgan September 18, 2013 at 8:54 pm #

I agree with this reply and cast my vote for 2.

  4. Sheila September 18, 2013 at 12:31 pm #

    I prefer 1.

I like the typeface much better than that of 2 (seems child-like) and the signpost seems more representative of the content of your posts than a hiker.

  5. George Kupar September 18, 2013 at 1:05 pm #

    I like 1. the best.
I would choose it because the font represents simplicity, and the colors are more soothing and simple, which fits in with the philosophy and lifestyle.
The signpost is best because it elicits the idea of choices, from deciding to simplify to what to simplify to continuing to simplify, and so on.

  6. Feh Wah Woon September 18, 2013 at 1:33 pm #

    # 1 — Simplicity itself.

  7. Janet September 18, 2013 at 1:34 pm #

Although I love the hiker personally, I vote for the second choice as it it more of a neutral logo for the type of content you post, and the colors rock! If you could change it up, I would use the typeface of the first choice, however; to keep it from appearing too playful.

  8. elena September 18, 2013 at 1:45 pm #

I also like number 2. Nice colors if even I might agree that the typeface seems a bit child-like. You could use the colorso of 2 with the typeface of one. :)

  9. Van September 18, 2013 at 1:50 pm #

    i vote for #3

  10. Clarissa September 18, 2013 at 1:51 pm #

    I prefer number 01.
    The typeface is clearer.

  11. Sandy September 18, 2013 at 1:55 pm #

    I prefer #2.
3 is just confused (bland typography, with a backpacker in the middle?)

  12. Angie September 18, 2013 at 2:07 pm #

#1 – the simplest of the three!

  13. Sidney September 18, 2013 at 2:21 pm #

    #1 all the way!
I like the simplicity of the first, compared to the second one. I also like the warm and calm vibe that the use of orange and yellow gives.
To me the second one it too curly and bubbly and bright. It just does not fit the blog at all.
The third one is good- but I question the icon. Do you hike? IDK- it just feels less relevant to me.

  14. Lynn September 18, 2013 at 2:22 pm #

I like the design of the first one, it’s nice and simple, but I like the colors of the green and purple crossroads sign. Can you ask her/him to switch them?

  15. Maria September 18, 2013 at 2:52 pm #

I vote for number 1. Nice lettering and signpost – Simple.

  16. Rose September 18, 2013 at 2:59 pm #

    Number 3 seems peaceful.

  17. a.pregont September 18, 2013 at 3:20 pm #

Typeface of 3 with colors of 2.

  18. Sandy Minks September 18, 2013 at 3:28 pm #

I vote for #3, although I don’t dislike any of the choices. Good luck! :)

  19. Cathie September 18, 2013 at 3:30 pm #

#1—It feels fresh like springtime. The signposts are all about direction. The backpack represents weight carried.
    Yeah for the signposts!

  20. Cathie September 18, 2013 at 3:31 pm #

Okay – too busy thinking to pay attention. Ignore my number choice above – I meant to say #2. Not #1.

  21. Teresa September 18, 2013 at 3:44 pm #

#1 seems to represent minimalism – not sure what the backpacker on #3 represents (?).

  22. i September 18, 2013 at 4:14 pm #

    #3 definitely

  23. Artsnark September 18, 2013 at 4:25 pm #

I like the color pop of 2 but the font doesn’t say simplicity to me. Have to pick 1 but signpost colors need to change – the browns say “dull & boring” instead of simplify

  24. Tara September 18, 2013 at 4:39 pm #

#1, but I like the colors of #2 better.

  25. Beverly September 18, 2013 at 4:50 pm #

I like #1, I “get” #3 but it would not attract me to the website at all, probably the opposite as I do not hike :-)
I really like your website and appreciate the work you do! Thank you!!!

  26. LCM September 18, 2013 at 6:01 pm #

#1 but please change colors…use those from #2 or another combination

  27. catherine stevens September 18, 2013 at 6:05 pm #

I like the font on #1 colors might be brown and soft

  28. catherine stevens September 18, 2013 at 6:06 pm #

OOPs!- colors soft green for new experiences , new space, brown for letting go

  29. willow September 18, 2013 at 6:25 pm #

First choice: #1. The font is simple and the signposts are great colors.
    Second choice: #3.
#2–the colors and font are too ‘girlie’.

  30. Kailey September 18, 2013 at 6:31 pm #

1 – fonts simpler and looks clean. I prefer the sign color in 2 tho as I like how they contrast each other more.

I do like the hiker but again not as simple and I think you vouch more for how the decisions you make changes the outcome vs the journey (which the hiker makes me think of.

    Rebranding is cool!

  31. Mary September 18, 2013 at 7:09 pm #

    I vote for #1.

  32. Ger September 18, 2013 at 7:47 pm #

    I vote for No. 1

  33. Sherri September 18, 2013 at 7:54 pm #

    2. Opposing colors on the color wheel, opposing directions on sign. Appealing font.

  34. MotherLodeBeth September 18, 2013 at 9:00 pm #

#2 because the two colours denote a real midway point.
The #3 could be confused as being about hiking and #1 is bland colourwise and does not demonstrate the challenge being at a midway point would suggest.

  35. Moni September 18, 2013 at 10:42 pm #

I work in the graphics industry so this is right up my alley.

I like the font of #1

Colours. #1 is ok but possibly too earthy. #2 that combination was popular about 5 years ago, so maybe a bit dated? I like the green as it suggests fresh and growth. The purple catches the eye more but I’m feeling that the prominent colour being on the left with the sign post suggesting the past or the starting point, to me it is drawing the attention in that direction and not to the destination direction. Does that make sense? Can I suggest two tones of green instead?

Symbol. The hiker is confusing and heading in the wrong direction. The sign post makes more sense, however, there is a part of me that wants to see it flipped over so that the disconnected sign facing the past maybe as an option.

  36. Kelly September 18, 2013 at 10:59 pm #

    Number 1, is number ONE.

The second one is too cutesy and fussy, the third? I get that it’s a journey to simplicity, but you want it to be completely clear to someone new that knows nothing about minimalism, that this is not a hiking blog.

  37. Kelly September 18, 2013 at 11:01 pm #

Although I do prefer the black text with a green and purple sign post instead of the orange.

  38. M September 19, 2013 at 4:19 am #

I like #3 because it reminds me to travel purposely and lightly.

    • M September 19, 2013 at 4:21 am #

Purposefully ;). Sorry, it’s been a long day.

  39. Christy King September 19, 2013 at 5:47 am #

I like the font of #1 best with the colors of #2.

  40. Jenni September 19, 2013 at 5:53 am #

Number 2 jumped out at me, I really like the colours and the font.

  41. Sher September 19, 2013 at 7:21 am #

I like #1 font and wording color but not the colors of the sign post
and not sure what the significance is on the colors chosen?

is this just for use on the blog in color?

will it be on business cards, letterhead, etc?

keep in mind to keep costs down on any printing, the fewer colors used the less expensive.
also consider what the logo looks like in black and white…

  42. Mari Burton September 19, 2013 at 8:48 am #

I like number one best of these but I’m not really keen on any of them:-(

  43. Ken September 19, 2013 at 9:52 am #

Logo 1 is my favourite as it is clean and simple. The second option is too loud, and the third choice is plain confusing – why a walker with a backpack?

  44. Lamya September 19, 2013 at 10:33 am #

no.1 … It makes me feel the calmness & inner peace resulting from simplicity …

  45. Debbi September 19, 2013 at 12:33 pm #

I like the font from number 1, but the colours from number 2.

  46. Lin September 19, 2013 at 3:02 pm #

Colours of # 2 and the font of #1

  47. Emily September 19, 2013 at 3:06 pm #

    #1. for sure.

  48. Asser September 19, 2013 at 8:24 pm #

I vote for 3.. simply like it..maybe because it involves a human being. .

  49. Stephanie September 19, 2013 at 10:51 pm #

Love the colors of #2 but the figure of #3. If I had to choose I would say #2.

  50. Patrícia September 20, 2013 at 12:10 am #

    Number #3

  51. Anne September 20, 2013 at 1:00 am #

#1 logo because the typeface is more simple, but colors of #2

  52. Mike September 20, 2013 at 1:17 am #

    I like #1.
The colors look nice. The font is simple, not-too-playful (like 2), and not stuffy. I dig it!

    • Mike September 20, 2013 at 1:19 am #

I also like the purple and green with the number 1 font.

  53. Yvonne September 22, 2013 at 2:42 am #

I like the colors on number 2. Number 1 is way too dull and plain for me!

  54. saida September 22, 2013 at 3:38 am #

I like the typeface of #1 (second one looks like a kids writing and doesn’t look as simple). But I love the colours of #2. If I had to pick just one as is, I would go with #1.

  55. jezz September 23, 2013 at 12:34 pm #

No 2 -love the colours ! (but with No 1 font – very simple )
The hiker is not simple – looks like baggage on his back- and a stick – too complicated !

  56. Wanda September 23, 2013 at 6:09 pm #

No. 2 – love the color combo. No to No. 3 … looks like hiking or backpacking.

  57. Gail September 23, 2013 at 6:14 pm #

Definitely number one. The others are too cluttered.

  58. Louise September 23, 2013 at 10:24 pm #

    Font/design of 1, using colors of 2!

  59. Terrie September 23, 2013 at 11:02 pm #

I like the original, but if that’s off the table, then… #2. :-)

  60. Lj earnest September 23, 2013 at 11:24 pm #

I like the design on 1 and 2, but I’m partial to the colors in 2, but that’s understandable because they’re very similar to mine :) 3 doesn’t convey the feeling of being in the middle.

  61. Charli Prather September 24, 2013 at 12:15 am #

    2 caught my eye.
