Welcome to a new edition of the Midway Simplicity Tips of The Week.

Enjoy!

  1. “At the end of the day, the only person’s expectations that I have to meet are my own.” – Ryan Nicodemus
  2. Storage is not a solution—it’s just a way to hide your stuff until you (or worse yet, someone else!) must deal with it later.” - Francine Jay
  3. Always sign up for any FREE customer loyalty program.
  4. If it needs to be done today, do it today (not later).
  5. When buying things, do so to please yourself not other people.” – Colleen Madsen
  6. “If you do nothing amazing but you go with the crowd, then you don’t look stupid. But then you miss out on the amazing.” – Leo Babauta
  7. Shopping might be entertaining. But, don’t forget that it is very expensive! Never enter a store without a shopping list.
  8. Make it a habit that you don’t walk away from a task without tidying up.
  9. Keep a journal to help you record your progress in achieving your goals.
  10. Cook and freeze complete meals in advance.

About Mohamed Tohami

In this blog, you'll find simple living ideas that fall midway between extreme frugality & minimalism and the hoarder’s extreme fear of deprivation. That’s where ordinary folks live and desire to enjoy more with less without being criticized, judged or lectured for not being an ‘extreme’ minimalist. Look at me as a normal person who is frustrated by the radical minimalism tips out there and has decided to document and share his midway simple living ideas and experiments with you.
