Need Your Help With The Title Of A New E-book

First of all, I would like to thank the 58,310 readers who visited this blog since its launch on April 17, 2012.

I’m so happy by the amazing feedback I received from you in general and on The Midway Simplicity Show specifically.

We have already completed 10 episodes with awesome simplicity experts.

They all honored me by appearing on my show and sharing with you easy tips that are not too harsh for your lifestyle and that can help you simplify the five most important areas of your life, which are: Time, Health, Things, Finances and Relationships.

I received many requests to offer a transcript to read instead of the video version of the show. And that’s what I’m working on now.

Vote on the title for my new ebook

I’m now compiling all the 10 shows in an ebook that you can easily read. Moreover, I’m going to make the audio and the video versions available for you to download, so that you can read, listen, or watch at your leisure.

I just need your help with the title of this ebook.

I’ve kicked around a lot of ideas and I just can’t decide. So, I thought, “Why don’t I ask you — the reader — to decide?”

So below are some of the titles I’ve thought of:

50 Ways To Simplify Your Life

50 Easy Expert Tips To Simplify Your Life

50 Mainstream Ideas To Simplify Your Life

50 Easy Tips To Simplify Your Time, Health, Things, Finances and Relationships

50 Easy Tips, 10 Experts and One Show To Help You Simplify Your Life

50 Ways To Simplify The Top Five Areas Of Your Life

50 Midway Simplicity Ideas (or Tips)

Please vote for the one you like AND/OR suggest an alternative title in the comments below.

I appreciate your help with this.

If you didn’t comment on this blog before, I urge you. I would love to connect with and hear from you. Feel free to leave your comment under a fake name if you must. But your contribution will dramatically help me and all of us.

This is your chance to get your fingerprints on what we’re creating at Midway Simplicity. Hearing from you is the only sign that what I create is useful to you.

In addition, I will add the names of all who contributed with a vote in the Acknowledgement section of the ebook.

Helping me come up with a winner title can make a big difference in the lives of thousands of people. Don’t you agree with me that one of the main reasons that compel you to choose a book to read is the TITLE?

If the book title is catchy and attractive, this will increase its chances of getting in the hands of thousands of readers … and may be just one tip makes all the difference in someone’s life.

Your contribution can be of greater value to the simple living community than you probably realize.

Thank you in advance for sharing your vote and suggestions.

I can’t wait to see your comments and brainstorm a winner title with you.

Now please leave your vote AND/OR suggest an alternative title in the comments below!

My only suggestion? Lose “50” in the title, particularly at the very start. What’s wrong with “Midway Simplicity: tips, tricks and commonsense ideas” (or something like that). Adding “50” just sounds like you’re trying to hop on the “50 Shades of Grey” bandwagon.

    • Jane July 12, 2012 at 6:44 pm #

I semi agree with LazyGirl – it’s just lousy timing what with the mass histeria over the 50 Shades book, but your title does sound too close to it for comfort.
Delores is on to something with the 10 People suggestion.
I don’t have a witty title suggestion – but I’ll keep mulling it over in case some brilliant thought comes to mind though.

      • Mohamed Tohami July 12, 2012 at 7:01 pm #

Cool! Can’t wait. I’m sure you’ll come up with something interesting. It doesn’t have to be brilliant. Just keep the ideas rolling :)

      • Jane July 12, 2012 at 9:53 pm #

I have no idea who’s little photo got attached to my post…but that’s so not me in the picture!

  2. Mohamed Tohami July 12, 2012 at 4:57 pm #

Interesting title Lazygal. The number 50 is because in each episode the guest shares 5 tips, one to simplify time, one for health, one for things, one for finances and one for relationships. So, 5 tips x 10 episodes = 50 tips.

  3. Delores July 12, 2012 at 5:45 pm #

How about Ten People, Five Topics: Simplify Your Time, Health, Things, Finances and Relationships? OK, that sounds better than it looks. Too long. But I agree you should lose the 50. Maybe: Simplicity: 10 people, 5 topics.

Maybe I don’t have any specific title suggestions. Look at ebooks that catch your attention and ask yourself what it is about their titles. Annie’s “Shoestring Girl” was catchy. “Midway Simplicity” is catchy too. Especially for people burned out on minimalism.

    • Mohamed Tohami July 12, 2012 at 7:03 pm #

Great! So, now I know that I’ve to get rid of this number 50 :) I’m glad to know that you see “Midway Simplicity” catchy. I will wait for more ideas from you :)

  4. Julie July 12, 2012 at 8:19 pm #

What about, Just right, simple …..
see that’s not too simple or too complicated, just right, like Goldilocks and the 3 bears
    and the chairs/porridge/bed.

    • Mohamed Tohami July 13, 2012 at 10:46 am #

Hi Julie, you mean that the title of the ebook could be “Just Right”

      • julie July 13, 2012 at 5:55 pm #

        Just right simplicity

  5. Kimberley July 13, 2012 at 5:17 am #

Love Delores’ suggestion for the title. I don’t think the title is too long at all. Whatever you choose will be perfect. You will know when you have the right title. It’s that little voice, your intuition, that will speak to you.

    • Mohamed Tohami July 13, 2012 at 10:48 am #

I trust the power of intuition, but it is giving me too many choices :) Delores suggestion is very nice. Any suggestions from your side :)

That’s the second vote for Midway Simplicity to be the main title. Thanks a lot.

  7. Willow July 16, 2012 at 2:20 am #

Ask 10 Experts: Simplify Your Life. I like my titles short but catchy. BTW, I was unable to download and watch one of the shows; I think it was Robert’s. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the others!

    • Mohamed Tohami July 16, 2012 at 2:08 pm #

Interesting title Willow. Thanks a lot. Robert’s video had an issue, but was fixed on the spot. Please check it again now.

  8. crunchycon July 18, 2012 at 8:58 pm #

Another vote for keeping Midway Simplicity in the title, whatever it turns out to be.

    • Mohamed Tohami July 19, 2012 at 8:18 am #

Great! Thanks for your vote. I think I will go this way with the title.

  9. Griff July 24, 2012 at 1:18 pm #

    What about

    Simply simplify

    Simplify Your Life

    • Mohamed Tohami July 24, 2012 at 1:35 pm #

Why not. I’m also looking for a name that is unique and not used in other books before. I like the Simply Simplify. Thanks Griff for your nice suggestion.

  10. Colleen July 29, 2012 at 1:04 am #

I would go with the first one because all the others are too complicated.

    • Mohamed Tohami July 29, 2012 at 12:11 pm #

Thanks Colleen. How about making the title just “Midway Simplicity”?

  11. Ola September 22, 2012 at 11:21 pm #

I dont know if it is too late to vote since we are in September….but after reading all the previous posts , I would suggest something like that
    Disconnect to connect
the path to midway simplicity.or the path to joyful living since joyful living is the ultimate goal
By disconnect and connect I mean getting rid of habits and introducing new habits that work better.
Hope I was of some help

    • Mohamed Tohami September 23, 2012 at 10:08 am #

Thanks Ola. It’s never too late :)

I like “The Path To Midway Simplicity”

  13. Asma December 27, 2012 at 10:32 pm #

For a book about simplifying your life, wouldn’t you want a very simple and elegant title? What about “Simplification”? 😀

  14. Angie January 8, 2014 at 7:14 am #

    A title suggestion-

    Less . . . on purpose.
